"53rd Academy of Country Music Awards" – (AIRED LIVE 4/15/2018 / CBS) The 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards, Country’s Party of the Year, returned to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas with Reba McEntire taking the host reins for her 15th time.
The ACM Awards honored the biggest and newest names in country music giving out eight awards, including New Female Vocalist to Lauren Alaina, New Vocal Group to Midland and New Male Vocalist to Brett Young. Miranda Lambert surpassed Brooks & Dunn’s record and became the most awarded artist in ACM Awards history (32 awards) when she took home awards for Female Artist and ACM Song of the Year (as both the artist and the songwriter). Jason Aldean was awarded the shows highest honor… Entertainer of the Year” for his third consecutive time. This year’s show included a very special opening tribute to the victims of October’s Route 91 tragedy and the Las Vegas community.
The show included 25 performances by Lauren Alaina, Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Kelly Clarkson, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Alan Jackson, Chris Janson, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Midland, Maren Morris, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Brett Young and Chris Young. Plus, Bebe Rexha and Julia Michaels made their debut appearances at the ACM Awards, with Rexha collaborating with Florida Georgia Line and Michaels performing with Keith Urban.
The ACM Awards introduced a new feature “ACM Flashbacks” honoring classic country music hits that still resonate with fans today. This year the ACM’s took us back to 1993 with performances by Toby Keith and Blake Shelton performing Keith’s “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” Alan Jackson and Jon Pardi performing Jackson’s “Chattahoochee,” and Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson performing Reba’s hit “Does He Love You.”

"52nd Academy of Country Music Awards" – (AIRED LIVE 4/2/2017 / CBS) The 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards, Country’s Party of the Year, returned to Las Vegas, but in a new venue, the T-Mobile Arena. Also returning, to help honor the biggest names in country music were hosts, Luke Bryan and Dierks Bently, who opened the show with a performance of “Johnny B Goode,” featuring special guest, Joe Walsh, paying tribute to the late Chuck Berry. The opening also included performances by the five Entertainer of the Year nominees, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban, singing their recent hits. Amongst the 8 on-air awards, and opening performances, were 21 additional performances including standout duet performances by Faith Hill & Tim McGraw, with the world television premiere of their single “Speak To A Girl,” Reba McEntire & Christian artist, Lauren Daigle, Thomas Rhett & Maren Morris, Carrie Underwood & Keith Urban and Cole Swindell & Dierks Bentley. The night also included outstanding performances by Brett Eldredge, Old Dominion, Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Jon Pardi, Rascal Flatts, and Chris Stapleton. Lady Antebellum blew the roof off with “You Look Good” featuring the UNLV Marching Band, and the crowd, including celebrities and country artists alike, sang and danced in the aisles as Back Street Boys and Florida Georgia Line stole the night with their performances of “God, Your Mama, and Me” and “Everybody (Backstreets Back)”. Joe Walsh gave out the last and biggest award of the evening to reigning entertainer of the year, Jason Aldean, giving him his second straight win in this category.

"11th ACM Honors" - (Aired 9/15/2017/ CBS) ACM Honors returned to the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN to the pay tribute to the special honorees and off-camera winners from the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards. The night showcased spectacular performances by Kelsea Ballerini, Karen Fairchild, Alan Jackson, Chris Janson, Toby Keith, Little Big Town, Brad Paisley, Thomas Rhett, Hillary Scott, and Chris Stapleton. Maren Morris performed in and hosted a special tribute to the late Glen Campbell and the night came to a fantastic climax with an incredible performance by the King of Country…Mr. George Strait. Presenters included Jason Aldean, Bobby Bones, Ross Copperman, Lady Antebellum and Jimmy Webb. “Miss Universe 2016” - (Aired 1/22/2017 / FOX) LIVE January 22,2017 from the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila Philippines, Steve Harvey returned as host for the 2017 Miss Universe pageant. 86 beautiful, intelligent and talented women representing their individual countries competed for the title. The event was co-hosted by model Ashley Graham with special performances by Flo Rida and Boyz II Men. Iris Mittenaere of France was crowned Miss Universe 2016. "MDA Show of Strength Telethon" (Aired annually Labor Day weekend / ABC) The MDA benefit concert telethon, previously known as the Jerry Lewis Telethon, raises funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association whose mission it is to save and improve the lives of anyone fighting muscle disease including Muscular Dystrophy and ALS. The 2014 show features performances by talent such as: R5, Fall Out Boy, Jason Derulo, Aloe Blacc, Leann Rimes and more. Interspersed are video profiles of survival and hope that touch and inspire viewers by showing how the children, their parents, siblings and doctors triumph over their daily adversities. "Healing in the Heartland" (Aired 5/29/2013 / NBC) This tornado relief concert benefit at the Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma City, was put together in 7 days and aired just 9 days after the deadly tornado tore through the city of Moore, OK killing 24 people. The televised benefit hosted by Blake Shelton and benefiting the United Way of Central Oklahoma’s May Tornadoes Relief Fund, raised more than $6 million in pledges and tickets sales to aid in immediate and long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts. The concert didn’t focus on the sadness, but on the strength of the people and how they all came together in a time of crisis to help each other heal. Among the performers who donated their time and money to the benefit were Miranda Lambert, Usher, Darius Rucker, Vince Gill, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire and Luke Bryan. Million Second Quiz" (Aired 9/9-9/19, 2013 / NBC) Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the show followed a group of contestants who competed to win over $2 million in a quiz competition that lasted 1,000,000 seconds (or 11 days, 13 hours, 46 minutes, and 40 seconds). Ten LIVE broadcast episodes took place from a large hourglass shaped structure on the roof of a building in midtown Manhattan, NY. Viewers played along on their phone apps and nbc.com to earn entry onto the show by answering questions correctly. The two-hour finale crowned Andrew Kravis the winner, taking home a total of $2.6 million, the highest grand prize in game show history.

“Stayin’ Alive: A GRAMMY© Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees” - (Aired 4/16/2017 / CBS) To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the revolutionary soundtrack “Saturday Night Fever, ” the Grammy Academy paid tribute to the Bee Gees, and their songs that changed the world of music, in a special two-hour special that had viewers "dancing yeah." The tribute concert to surviving Bee Gee, Barry Gibb and his three brothers who made up the group, plus brother Andy Gibb, garnered top ratings for the night with over 10.26 million viewers. Performers who paid tribute in song to the brothers Gibb included Grammy winners Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Celine Dion, Keith Urban, Ed Sheeran, Pentatonix, Little Big Town and Tavares. Also performing were Kelsea Ballerini, Andra Day, Tori Kelly, Demi Lovato, Thomas Rhett, Jason Derulo, Nick Jonas, DNCE, Katherine McPhee and Panic! at the Disco. The night was capped with performances by Barry Gibb himself. Special presenters included John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John and Cynthia Erivo.
