​“ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute To The Troops” Academy of Country Music Annual Specials – (Aired 5/20/2014 (CBS) This two-hour televised concert event featured some of the biggest names in country music paired up and performing with service members from all five military branches. Each performance was preceded by an inspirational and emotional video package honoring the military performer’s unique individual journey and their heroic service to our country. Proceeds from ticket sales from the specials benefit ACM Lifting Lives® the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music dedicated to improving lives through the power of music.
